How Nottingham City Gymnastics Club is expanding with support from ClassForKids  


From the get-go, David and the team at Nottingham City Gymnastics Club had the ambition of creating a club with a difference, a space where fun and community played a significant role. 

Fifteen years later, NCGC is one of the largest non-competitive gymnastics clubs focused on developing children’s gymnastics skills, regardless of their age or ability. Thanks to their bold vision, they now see 1200+ kids every week across three venues. 

In the past year, NCGC has grown by a staggering 15%. But what’s the secret to their success? 

Nurturing gymnastics skills contributing to phenomenal growth

Initially operating in one location to provide non-competitive gymnastics classes, NCGC soon realised there was a demand for classes with a difference. Investing in and nurturing their community became a priority. 

Fast forward a few years; word of mouth in parent networks has propelled the demand for classes at NCGC. Despite moving to a larger venue with more space, along with a surge in demand for classes, came difficulty in managing day to day tasks. 

Paper registers were stacking up, booking processes were clunky, and payment management became a complete nightmare. What once started out as a passion for coaching and inspiring kids across communities became hours spent on admin tasks. To achieve their goals, an addition to the team would change everything.
